2-STROKE Diesel Engine
The bearing wear monitoring and alarm system
The bearing wear monitoring and alarm system of this product has been installed more than 1,000 sets in domestic machine factories so far, and we also provide for retrofitting installation on the delivered ships. The system's distance sensors, temperature sensors
and corresponding water in oil sensors can monitor in real time and dynamically reflect the running status of the main bearing on the display device, provide pre-alarm to avoid serious bearing wear issue.
The BDMS provided by Dr. E. Horn GmbH & Co. KG has been recognized by MAN since 2006. It has adopted the product as the standard configuration of its new engines, and it is recommended to install BDMS on all MAN engines currently in use. And through the approval of many classification societies, can provide the corresponding approval certificate (BV/LR/ABS/DNV-GL)
Water in Oil sensor
This sensor is designed to monitor the absolutely humidity in oil . The measuring principle is the change of the oil's dielectric value with the water content in the oil.
The capacitive design recognizes these changes, and the built-in microprocessor calculates the value of the change to obtain the thresholds for pre-alarm and main alarm.
The default values are 0.5AW and 0.9AW. This sensor should be installed at the inlet pressure pipe or near the outlet of the lubricating oil filter pipe where it is not affected by current.
The measured value is transmitted to the indication via the RS232/RS422 serial link.
